I was honored to be a panelist for the Standard Bank Grow Beyond Borders Seminar, recognized as an industry expert and leading culinary entrepreneur in the country. Over the years, I have built, grown, and sustained a business model that has stood the test of time, demonstrating excellence, gaining goodwill, and scaling into significant ventures and corporate partnerships as a preferred food supplier.
During the seminar, I shared the milestones and challenges that shaped the businesswoman I am today, highlighting how I have continually reinvented my business model—not just as a baker, but as a top culinary entrepreneur and indigenous food innovator. Speaking on the panel during Luju week was particularly meaningful, as the Luju Food and Lifestyle Festival has been pivotal to my culinary journey and overall growth.
I shared the stage with industry leaders including Thula Sindi, Jiggs Thorne, and Paula Marques, engaging attendees who were SME owners, industry stakeholders, and Standard Bank group representatives. The aim was to connect people with funding, opportunities, and shared experiences, inspiring growth and innovation in the business community.
